A magnificent example of bank architecture of the epoque, with symbolic statuary, artistic stone carving, and Byzantine-inspired stained-glass and mosaics.  We will trace the story of this designated national monument in Paris’ 9^th arrondissement through archival black and white photographs, old engravings, and more modern color images.
