The Man Beast - play at the First Folio Theatre in Oak Brook

In the 18th Century French Countryside, a mysterious wild-animal is ravaging the livestock and the citizenry, leaving behind a trail of blood and death. No one has seen it, but they have seen gory results of its vicious attacks and suspect that it's a Loup-Garou, the savage werewolf of French Legend. When Louis XVI puts a bounty on the animal, the mystery and horror only deepen.

Join Mon Ami Gabi for our annual Fall Harvest Wine Dinner. Executive Chef Bruce Williams will debut the flavors of the season with a multi-course menu, perfectly paired with French country wines. Enjoy Scallops Gratinées to start, followed by a Baked Breaded Goat Cheese Salad, Striped Sea Bass with

Cézanne et Moi - Movie screening at the Charlestowne Mall in St. Charles

A historical drama traces the lifelong friendship between two renowned 19th century French artists - painter Paul Cézanne (Guillaume Gallienne) and writer Emile Zola (Guillaume Canet) - from their first meeting as schoolmates to their creative rivalry as fame and success continue to elude Cézanne.

Driehaus Museum L’Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters
Special Exhibit from February 11, 2017 – January 7, 2018
L’Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters features approximately 50 posters by the five grand masters of the medium: Jules Chéret, Eugène Grasset, Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Alphonse Mucha. The posters date from 1875 to 1910, the exuberant era in France known as the Belle Époque. These pioneering artists reigned in Paris during this period of artistic proliferation, defining a never-before-seen, and never forgotten, art form.
